Associate Director of Musicleckenrodebedeva.orgLaurel Eckenrode recently graduated summa cum laude from Christendom College with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Liturgical Music Minor with Organ Emphasis. While at Christendom, she studied under Dr. Jeffrey Alban and was a recipient of the Pope Benedict XVI Organ Scholarship. She served as Principal Organist at Christendom’s Christ the King Chapel for the 2023–2024 academic year. Originally from Maryland, Laurel is also a proficient pianist and received First Class Honors through the Royal Conservatory of Music as well as the Maryland State Music Teachers’ Association (MSMTA) Senior Distinguished Music Achievement Award. She served as an accompanist at her hometown parish of St. Aloysius Gonzaga from 2016–2024, and taught as a private piano instructor from 2017–2020.
