Aaron Renninger, MSM is a native of Indiana and graduated cum laude from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Organ Performance. Aaron holds a Master of Sacred Music Degree from the University of Notre Dame studying under Dr. Craig Cramer, Professor and Artist in residence at the University. He has completed advanced programs in choral conducting, chironomid, chant notation, and handbells and traveled throughout Northern Germany playing and researching historic pipe organs adding to his extensive knowledge of organ building. Professionally, Aaron has served as organist, choirmaster, and director of liturgy and music for several churches in the Midwest. As Director of Liturgy and Music at Saint Bede Catholic Church in Williamsburg since January 2011, Aaron directs the parish choir, a schola ensemble, a Choral Scholars program, and a children’s choir serves as the principal organist and is responsible for all liturgical planning for the parish. He was selected to sit on the Liturgical Commission for the Diocese of Richmond and currently chairs the Diocesan Music Committee. He holds memberships in the American Guild of Organists, Church Music Association of America, and the Royal School of Church Music.
