Service Opportunities

Christ calls each of us to love our neighbor, particularly through service. St. Bede Youth Ministry works to provide teens with opportunities to grow in faith through service.

If you are interested in becoming involved in any way, please contact Deacon Grimm or Ginny Gazewood for more information.

Ongoing Service at St. Bede

Greeters/Ushers: At Sunday 5pm Mass, high school greeters and ushers are the first to welcome our parishioners and visitors. This is a simple yet meaningful way to share Christ's love through hospitality.

Sound Ministers: These ministers are responsible for setting up the microphones and sound equipment for Mass. This is a great ministry for those who are tech-savvy to share their expertise with the church.

Religious Education Catechists: On Sunday mornings, youth in grades pre-k throuh 8th grade meet for religious education classes. High school students serve as catechists to share their faith with the younger students. This a powerful ministry for those who are looking to take more ownership of their faith and walk with younger students on their faith journeys.

Parish Nativity Set-Up: During Advent, students set-up the Nativity scene in preparation for the Christmas season. This is a fun way to prepare for the coming of Christ at Christmas!
