Adoration Ministry

The Adoration Ministry provides spiritual support through prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.

  • Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament is held Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. until midnight at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham. Please spend some time asking the Lord if He is calling you to support your parish through a weekly Holy Hour.

  • Nocturnal Adoration is held on the first Friday preceding First Saturday of the month from Friday 9:45 a.m. to Saturday 8:00 a.m. at the Shrine.

  • During his pontificate, Pope John Paul II pleaded for a return to the reverence and traditions of the past, especially for adoration of the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. Rediscover your love for Jesus Christ by regularly spending an hour to be present with the Lord. 'Jesus Himself is calling you to spend one special specific hour with Him each week.'  Saint John Paul II

  • We are currently seeking individuals to make a commitment to a specific time and date. Click here for Schedule of Available Permanent Adoration Openings.

  • For additional information or to commit to an hour in the presence of the Lord, email Mary Ann or at 757-565-3486.
