Social Ministry
To fulfill certain needs for uncertain times.
The St. Bede Social Outreach Ministry office touches the lives of parishioners and neighbors alike, no matter where those neighbors live. We feed the poor, visit the sick, clothe the naked, help the homeless, care for the elderly, befriend those who are lonely, injured, sick, unemployed, or in distress with the loss of a loved one.
Our Mission is to alleviate short-term financial burdens, preserve the dignity of every person, and to give hope where there is little hope.
Our Values are rooted in the gospel teachings of Jesus Christ and steered by the teachings of the Catholic Church. We are called to reach out to people with compassion and love, especially to those who are poor, sick, elderly, and imprisoned. We are committed to serving our parish and community as responsible stewards of the gifts we receive and by being faithful disciples of Jesus by promoting justice and peace to all who enter St. Bede Social Ministry.
The Social Ministry Office draws on the talent of trained and supervised
