Rite of Confirmation
The Confirmation journey is a sacramental preparation program for high school student's grades 9 - 12. The program has a flexible meeting schedule that responds to the ever-changing needs of the students. The program meets in host homes throughout the parish community. Elements include catechesis, parish and diocesan events, service projects, retreats, regular participation in Sunday liturgies and social events.
Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation is a two-year process. Candidates may begin their journey starting in 10th grade or later and are confirmed when they have completed the required elements. Regular, active participation in the Youth Ministry program for at least 1 year is required for all candidates.
