Dear parishioners and visitors of Saint Bede:
 Congratulations to Father Cole on his new assignment as Pastor of Saint John the Apostle in Virginia Beach. I wish him every blessing as he shepherds the people of his new parish family. Please join us on the weekend of June 21st after all the Masses. This will be your formal opportunity to express your regards and best wishes to him. I will be traveling in Europe from June 9th to the 25th, and regret that I will be unable to join everyone on that particular weekend. Father Cole will be with us until the end of June as his assignment is effective July 1st.
It is with pleasure that I announce that Augustinian Father Arlon Vergara will become our Parochial Vicar, effective July 1st. We look forward to the many blessings that Father Arlon will provide for us here at Saint Bede.
Also, I am pleased to announce that our new Director of Social Ministry & Human Concerns, Rhonie Butler, will be joining our staff full time on July 1st. We offer our gratitude and best wishes to Gail Vaughan who has retired as Coordinator of Social Ministry after three years. Her gifts have made this apostolate flourish, and we are most thankful for her generous ministry to those in need.
