Peninsula Catholic High School will hold an Admissions Open House for prospective students and their families for the 2010 – 2011 school year on Sunday, March7, starting at 2:00 p.m. The program will provide an opportunity to see our facilities, meet our students and staff, tour our school, learn about our academic, athletic and co-curricular offerings, and get a glimpse into what the “PC Experience” is all about. HOST FAMILY NEEDED
We are looking for a host family for a senior girl from China. Anni will be studying
at Peninsula Catholic for the 2010 - 2011 school year. The host family will be
reimbursed to cover expenses. China Channel is working with the Diocese of Richmond
and will be available to support the host family and the student.

licensed or seeking licensure in Theater Arts, PreK – 12 (additional
endorsement in English if possible); and a full-time art instructor,

Colonial CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)
will present its annual fund-raising event, A Blue Elephant Affair, Saturday,
May 8th, 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. in Trinkle Hall at the College of William & Mary. There will be “blues” music, food and drink, and “blue” themed shopping areas throughout the venue. CASA will offer hundreds of donated items, furniture, antiques, sporting goods, baby items, etc. This is not an auction, but a tag sale, first come, first served. Host Family Needed
Peninsula Catholic High School and Waslingham Academy will be welcoming international students for the 2010 – 2011
school years. The students speak English, have full medical and liability
insurance, and bring their own pocket money for personal expenses.
Host families provide room and board and receive a $450.00 monthly
hosting stipend. If you have room in your heart and home for one

Nancy's Hands Puppet Ministry
On Saturday, April 10 at 10 a.m., Wellspring United Methodist Church hosts Nancy's Hands Puppet Ministry for a FREE Christ centered performance for children and adults of all ages! Nancy's Hands, a team of youth puppeteers from Ebenezer UMC in Loudoun County, has ministered from Virginia to Illinois, to the borders of Canada, Maine, and most states in between.
