BedeConnect

BedeConnect is a ministry of our parish for young adults, ages 18-35, seeking a deeper encounter of Christ and the parish community through fellowship, service and the study of the Christian life.


Upcoming Events:

  • Mardi Gras Pancake Supper: Family friendly pancake party before Lent! Tuesday, February 28th at 6pm at the Kaplan Parish Hall!

  • Change your world! Service day at the Saint Paul's Soup Kitchen. Saturday, March 4th at 10am in Newport News. 

  • Retreat for Lent! Day retreat with young adults from around the Diocese. Breakfast, lunch, and childcare provided! Saturday, March 11th at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Newport News. Register here.

  • Saint Patrick’s Day Trivia/Game Night: May the best team win. Friday, March 17th in the Kaplan Parish Hall beginning with Stations of the Cross at 7pm

  • Parish Mission: An awesome three-day Lenten mission with daily talks, plus Reconciliation. March 12th thru 16th 

  • Who do you say that I am?: Seminarian Kyle unpacks who Christ introduced Himself to be through the Gospels. March 22nd, 29th 10-11am OR 7-8 pm

  • BedeNight: Dinner, table games, and Adoration with Praise and Worship. January 18th and April 19th starting at 6pm

  • W&M CCM Speaker Series: Big name Catholic speakers on current Catholic topics, followed by a pub meet up. Dates TBA soon!
