Living Our Mission
Thank you for your interest and support of our parish's present and future! Because of the extraordinary generosity of the Saint Bede Catholic Church parishioners and friends, we have moved our staff from The Annex to the Ironbound campus. Our Ministry/Administration building will be dedicated on Sunday, March 26 with the 11:00 a.m. Mass to be concelebrated by Monsignor Keeney and Bishop DiLorenzo with a reception to follow immediately after Mass.
The estimated cost of the building and furnishings is $10.5 million; the building alone is $7.5 million. We have received gifts and pledges totaling $8,436,328. Additional funds to Living Our Mission campaign will allow us to reduce the amount of debt that we will incur for our new space. Cash received so far totals $5,136,029.
We finally have the space to accommodate our religious education for all ages, 60 plus ministries and parish activity groups. We can be the hands and feet of Christ to our fellow parishioners and the greater Williamsburg community. If you haven't already participated, there is still time for you to join us in this historic moment for Saint Bede Catholic Church. Our Mission. Our Future. Our Legacy.
In order to recognize the service of the pastors who have served our parish community since the church was built in 1939, fourteen rooms will be named for these pastors. The remaining rooms are named for saints. Room namings are offered for gifts in excess of $25,000. There are additional Commemorative Gift Opportunities available starting at $300. Please contact Director of Development, Bea Sanford to learn more.
