Our parish truly is a mosaic of communities, with a home for adults at each stage of Christian life. In particular, these three ministries serve adults in particular stages of their journey:

Young at Heart Ministry reaches out to seniors 55 and older.

1. Adult Formation
Our parish's many small groups, Bible studies and presentations are offered at many different dates and times to fit into any busy schedule. Check out our current calendar!
2. Welcome Home
Maybe it's been a while since you have been to church- welcome home! We are here to help you find a community within the parish and answer any questions you may have.
If you're interested in finding out more about becoming Catholic, our RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) program is a great place to start!
Our parish offers 5 Sunday Masses each week featuring a variety of music ensembles, so you can find a time and style of worship in which you can fully and actively participate.
Do you like food, movies, and meeting new people? So do we! BedeConnect serves young adults ages 18-35 by providing activities, studies and more!
2. Young at Heart
Young at Heart meets each month for food, fellowship, and a presentation on various topics. Seniors 55 and older are welcome to contact us for more information!
3. Family Ministry and Small Groups
In addition to providing family-friendly activities, Family Ministry also provides small groups for Men and Women for fellowship and support in their vocation as parents.
4. Other Parish Life Communities
Other Parish Life Communities, such as Knights of Columbus, Legion of Mary, and Knitting Ministry provide intergenerational communities for adults with similar interests. We also have mentoring programs through Marriage and Marriage Preparation.
1. Bede Outreach Center
Our Outreach Center ministries are always looking for passionate people with hearts for service to go forth with us to the Greater Williamsburg community. We have many ministries including: Outreach Office, the Food Pantry, HOPE Pregnancy Care Center, Ecumenical Ministry, Haiti Ministry, Homeless Ministry.
2. Service in the Parish
We invite you to give your time and talents in service to our parish, too. Our Liturgy Office trains more than 500 parishioners to help make our worship at Mass a vibrant and joyful celebration. Our music ensembles, lectors, adult acolytes, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, sacristans, sound ministers, and ushers welcome new members! Other ministries, like Arts and Environment, Hospitality, Monthly Maintenance Ministry, make sure that our parish is an inviting and welcoming place to all who enter.
3. Religious Education Catechist
Our Children's Faith Formation and Youth Ministry programs invite you to discern being part of our leadership teams. Catechists for Children's Faith Formation work with children ages pre-K to 8th grade, while Youth Ministry serves teens from 9th-12th grade.
4. Prayer and Spiritual Works of Mercy
All are welcome to join in our prayer ministries, such as Eucharistic Adoration and Intercessory Prayer.
1. New Evangelization
The New Evangelization is a fresh look and new attitude toward the Christian life in light of the core elements of the Gospel Message. This means making prayer and discussion about the Faith a key part of daily life.
2. Pastoral Planning
As our parish works with Pastoral Council to come up with a 5-year Parish Pastoral Plan, we continue to seek input about the needs and goals of our adults.
